> Judge Warne is coming to your neighborhood! Many of Judge Warne's friends are hosting informal meet and greets in their homes across Harris County. The schedule is set:

September 16 - Katy
September 23 - Memorial
October 14 - Kingwood

> Judge Warne hosted another information session on July 14, 2010 for the "It Shouldn't Kill a Texas Teen 2 Date" program, which she helped found two years ago. This session included having middle school and high school students spend a day at the courthouse watching protective order hearings and talking to the judge that handles them, visiting with the District Attorneys who handle domestic violence cases, and having a two-hour lunch, information and discussion session on the issues of teen dating violence.
> In addition to continuing her speeches and presentations for the State Bar of Texas and South Texas College of Law, Judge Warne was on the faculty of the Texas College for Judicial Studies in April, 2010.
> Judge Warne has already presented at 4 different conferences this year. She has been nominated and accepted to the Family Violence Summit, which is a conference hosting only 100 judges across the state to brainstorm about domestic violence issues. Judge Warne will be a facilitator at that conference in June of this year.
> Judge Warne has been elected by her peers to serve as Adminstrative Judge of the Family Trial Division for the year June 2010-May 2011.
> Judge Warne was asked to deliver Supreme Court Justice Guzman's speech to over 1400 lawyers at the State Bar of Texas Advanced Family Law Seminar in San Antonio the week of August 9.
